The Fucked Up Shit In Midsommar: My Sister Doesn’t Want To See It But Needs To Know

This is a custom special request for my sister, and I think there are actually a lot of you who just want to know about the most disturbing parts of this one. Midsommar Trailer

The new horror flick from Hereditary’s Ari Aster is giving me some serious Wicker Man vibes. I’m talking 1973 Wicker Man, not Nicholas Cage Wicker Man, and even then I’m talking all the best elements of ’73 Wicker Man. I don’t know if there will be any topless girls unexpectedly breaking out into song, but the trailer looks pretty promising anyhow. That juxtaposition of marrying eerie suspense and brightly lit, beautiful surroundings though! Pack your bags, let’s go to Sweden.

Midsommar is in theaters July 3rd.
